The app shows no events. Year Calendar needs permission to read your calendar. Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars and enable access for Year Calendar.
How do I add or edit an event? Tap any day to open the day view, then tap an event to edit it or the + button to add a new one.
How do I choose my Bundesland for holidays? Open the gear menu in the top-left and select your state under Bundesland.

Year Calendar operates entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no tracking, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.
The app requests access to your device's calendar (Apple Calendar / EventKit) solely to display and manage your events locally. This data never leaves your device. Calendar access is optional — without it, the app shows the year grid and public holidays only.
Preferences (selected Bundesland, calendar visibility) and Apple Pencil drawings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. They are not accessible to us or any third party.
